Ilum is a moon of Hypat.

In-game Description[]

"Shortly after the discovery of Hypat, scientists were discovering a small, pink blur that occasionally passes in front of the planet. Nobody knows how it got there, but all scientists know is that blur is usually referred to as Ilum, a rather irregular moon of the ninth planet."

Physical Characteristics[]

Ilum is a small moon orbiting relatively close to Hypat. The moon is the size of a large asteroid, but surprisingly spherical. Most scientists believe that it accreted slowly enough to allow the material it gathered to loosely pile in near-equal amounts across the moon. Ilum is pinkish yellow in appearance, which is likely a result of ice deposits that have settled and frozen on the surface. Some scientists even believe the ice may be the same material found in Hypat's atmosphere.
